OTP scams on Pakistan gaming apps

How OTP and “support” scams work around JI66-style APKs in Pakistan, what scammers ask for, and the habits that block them.
What the scam looks like
Someone messages you on WhatsApp or Telegram claiming to be JI66 or TD777 support, a bonus agent, or a recovery team. They ask for your OTP, password, or a screenshot of your wallet. Sometimes they send an APK “update” first so they already control a fake login screen.
Real support inside a legitimate product should not need your SMS code. An OTP proves possession of your phone number — giving it away hands them the account.
Habits that stop most attempts
Never share OTPs, passwords, or banking PINs. Install only from the Download button on this site after checking the host. Refuse APKs from chat. Keep one account, not five, so you know which support channel is real. See fake APK risks and JI66 security.
If you already shared an OTP, change the password on a verified host immediately, contact your wallet provider if money moved, and stop depositing until the account is secured.
Bonus and recovery pressure
Scammers invent urgency: “claim in 10 minutes”, “police freeze”, “agent fee to unlock withdrawal”. Urgency is the product. Close the chat. If you feel chased by losses or by the scammer, use responsible gambling help rather than paying anyone to “fix” an account.
